Hyperspectral

This is especially challenging in environments with limited bandwidth and processing resources.

Idletechs offers specialized toolboxes for hyperspectral video compression and analysis for use in drones, airplanes or satellites.

Modules are available to include features such as de-shadowing (reconstruction of details in areas with less light), for pixel classification (e.g. looking for known spectra associated with algae bloom), and for ground-based model refinement.

CIM-ML for Earth Observation can be run on the devices and/or on the ground stations. The high compression rate of hyperspectral images allows more data to be collected. The real-time analysis of the imagery help to make actionable decisions faster.
